Built for investors who don't work from one desk
Jilljordan began with a simple observation: decision-making tools were designed for offices, not for the people actually making the decisions. We set out to change that.
From a shared frustration to a focused product
Jilljordan was founded by a small group of analysts and engineers who had grown tired of switching between spreadsheets, static reports, and tools that assumed a fixed location, a fixed schedule, and a fixed way of working.
What started as an internal set of scripts for sharpening investment decisions on the move became a dedicated platform once it was clear the problem extended far beyond our own team. We rebuilt it from the ground up, with structured data pipelines and clear reporting at the centre.
Today, Jilljordan is shaped by the same principle it started with: analysis should be rigorous, accessible, and usable wherever an investor happens to be working.
Clear decisions, wherever you're working
We exist to remove the friction between raw data and a confident decision. That means fewer dashboards to babysit, less manual reconciliation, and more time spent acting on what the numbers actually say.
Clarity over complexity
We favour straightforward outputs over impressive-looking complexity. If a report can't be understood in the time it takes to read it, it hasn't done its job.
Consistency across locations
Whether you're reviewing figures from a co-working space or a hotel room, the same data and the same logic should produce the same answer, every time.
Respect for the data
We treat data integrity as a prerequisite, not a feature. Analysis is only as useful as the inputs behind it, so we're deliberate about how information is sourced and handled.
The principles behind how we build
These are the standards we hold the product to, section by section, release by release.
Independence
Tools should serve the person using them, not dictate how or where they work.
Discipline
Good decisions come from consistent process, not sporadic effort.
Transparency
Every output should be traceable back to the data and logic that produced it.
Restraint
We add features because they're needed, not because they're possible.
Who's behind Jilljordan
Jilljordan is run by a compact group spanning data engineering, financial analysis, and product design. We work the same way our customers do — without a fixed office, coordinated around outcomes rather than hours.
Building the pipeline
Responsible for how information is gathered, structured, and kept reliable before it ever reaches a report.
Shaping the models
Focused on turning raw figures into the kind of structured insight that supports an actual decision.
Designing the experience
Makes sure the platform stays usable under real conditions — limited time, shifting locations, and varying connectivity.
